Ecobau simplifies sustainable planning and construction. The association offers user-friendly reference works, checklists, and tools. Its standards are integrated into the Minergie-ECO and SNBS building labels. They certify building materials and components according to health-related and ecological criteria, simplifying product selection for building owners, architects, and specialist planners.
Minergie is the Swiss building standard for comfort, efficiency, and climate protection – for both new buildings and renovations. A high-quality building envelope and controlled ventilation play a key role. Minergie buildings are also characterized by the consistent use of renewable energies and utilize the potential of solar power. They are CO2-free in operation and minimize greenhouse gas emissions during construction.
The SGNI is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sustainability in the real estate industry. It certifies buildings according to the DGNB system in Switzerland, trains consultants and auditors through its educational program, and fosters international collaboration. SGNI members include planners, engineers, architects, facility managers, investors, users, and building owners. Together, they work to drive the sustainable transformation of the Swiss real estate sector.
